I have been on Prozac for seventeen years. Until this year, I was on 20 mg. per day, then I went down to 10 mg. per day and I'm still fine. I absolutely swear by Prozac, but my Mom tried it and it did nothing for her, and she had crazy dreams. I love my crazy dreams! It is a side effect that I simply do not mind at all. There are so many antidepressants on the market, and many of them have worse side effects than dreams, so I am sticking with what I know works well. If my brain falls out of my head, so be it, because so far I have not taken my life, which is something I was seriously thinking about before I started Prozac.
